Todmorden's top nightclub, the Platinum Complex offers a variety of music styles from cutting edge new bands to anthems and classics from the best DJ's in town. And, for all your corporate and private functions we have our premier function room available for hire.
Hidden Lounge
The Hidden Lounge is the Platinum Complex's basement level were they get down on all the different musical genres that the clubbing scene has to offer. Every month they have a wide range of music styles that cover all the hits, anthems and classics from the following categories;
- Madchester
- Indie
- House
- R'n'B
- Hip Hop
The Hidden Lounge's Sound System
Fitted out with an Allen & Heath 464 DJ mixer, Camco and Crown power amps, DBX system processing and Ohm loudspeakers which deliver 18 Kilowatts of solid sound.
Their dance floor is covered with 12 Kilowatts of sound which is pumped through two 18 inch subs to provide the bass and four mid to high cabs to provide the detail. The remaining 6 Kilowatts is channelled through the surround sound speakers ensuring you experience the music the way it was intended, regardless of the musical style played at The Hidden Lounge.
House Night
Once a month DJ FloJo, another of the Hidden Lounge's new resident DJ's will be blasting the walls down with plenty of bass when she delivers all the latest that Funky, Progressive and Tribal house have to offer.

DJ FloJo has been involved in the club scene since it was born, having spent her early years at all the warehouse parties.She was known for carrying a ghetto blaster around with her to all the service stations before there where any legal clubs.
She invested in her own decks back in '96 and has played sets at an impressive list of venues both locally and further a field;

DJ FloJo focuses on playing a mixture of Funky, Tribal and Progressive club house music, because by her own admission she likes the bass! Her sets are usually split between the different styles of house where she plays the recent with a mix of classics and the occasional old school.
Dj FloJo's passion for music will ensure that you get plenty of bass the first Saturday of every month here at The Hidden Lounge.
